Interested in a RTA, just a few questions:

Price: Still £50 (+£2.50 UK Postage)?
Waiting list: Still 1-2 months?

Questions others should be able to answer:

Acrylic v Polycarb: A little googlesearch and this is what I get:
- Acrylic is more brittle and scratch resistant, polycarb (like my testicles) is bulletproof but scratches easily.
- Polycarb yellows over time under natural light whereas acrylic does not.
- Acrylic has better optical clarity (ignoring the yellowing).
For tank purposes is there any big difference between each material I've missed?

Wick/coil supplier recommendations as well as any rough estimates on how much you would use per re-wick/coil or if easier how much you'd estimate for a month/year?

Spent so far: Baseunits £274, Heads £147, Liquid £193, Accessories £39, TOTAL COST: £653
Break even point: 8 months, 10 days :(

Price is unchanged - still £52.50 inc postage within the EU.

Current wait is around 6 weeks.

All the RTAs have been supplied with polycarbonate tanks. The difference in clarity is small, and the extra strength is worth having.

Wire from www.wires.co.uk - I supply 0.13 nichrome, but it's worth experimenting with 0.16 and 0.20.
My wick comes from Tim's group buy on the forum, but you can also use Bulli or CE2 wick.

A metre of wick and wire makes about a dozen coils.
A properly-made coil can last for weeks, depending on what juice you use. Dark juices tend to clog the wick faster.

You are towards the top of the batch that'll ship in a couple of weeks. You may sneak into the batch that'll go out this week, if a few people pull out.

1. the little tab with a soldered wire on it does that have a purpose.

2. i watched a few videos on wrapping but have any suggestions for a big fingers glumpsy person.

Thanks for the heads-up on the inbox - I'll have a clear out!

The solder tag and wire are the ground back to the outer ring of the 510 connector - carries the voltage to the coil.

A good pair of magnifying reading glasses/spectacles is very helpful when winding coils. Much easier when you can clearly see what you are doing.

Batch 9 assembly underway, should all be finished tomorrow.

One minor hitch - I've just about run out of wick. If anybody has some group buy wick that they no longer need (or that they can spare), please let me know.

Send me a PM with the options that you want - top tube finish and filler screw/no filler screw - and I'll put you on the list.

Batch 9 has now all shipped, except for two (no reply from potential buyers). I'll give it a couple more days, then offer them to the first people in batch 10.

Batch 10 build has started. I'm making the metal and tube parts first this time, just for a change. The purple dye has arrived, and I'll be anodising some tubes tonight.

well it finally arrived in california...had some trouble with a lost package and steve was really responsive and super helpful. he went as far as to send me a second one after the first was lost to the postal service. just wanna say that im very impressed with the build quality, design and thought that went into this atty. i've had so many rebuildables, from the bulli a2, a2-tm, scubagen, line, mark-t bug, genesis mini..., and your atty is up there with the iatty and ody in performance, design and function. you nailed it mate...i think you proved to me what ive been thinking this entire time about these atties....its all about airflow from under the wick (like a ce2, iatty and ody). all the others just never could measure up because of this one simple problem.

thanks so much steve!
