First let me say that i am in no way a computer expert. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
But i do think it helps to restart your computer occasionally.
I have also noticed that loading the ECF site takes like......forever. You have to wait until the facebook link and twitter link have loaded. It really does slow things down on there....every page.
i blame adverts....advertising....and Rupert Murdoch cos i hate him soooooo much.....ha.

I also suffer from this form being slow, starts to load but then seems to "stick" ??? and then takes a further 20secs or more to complete, been like this for a while now ?

You can trace via your command prompt, you don't need to pay for visual trace unless you like pics.
Looks like the forum is hosted in Denver, so would guess that's why it can be slow on occasion. Its always fast enough for me though pretty much. I just reset my router if anything seems to be running especially slow, as its usually my own crap ISP that is having issues.

Always seems too stick on the file photo-thumbs-"different number each time".jpg ??

The only issues I get with pics are if I am trying to view on a phone or tablet. When I am at my pc they all come up fine all the time.

Weird that its not the same file each time, and always a "photo-thumbs" file thats slow to load couldnt tell you which or were as the site stalls and just waits for that file, cant do anthing until that file/thumbs has loaded ???

its been slow for me for the last couple of weeks on my pc...but my phone is fast.....other forums and sites load fast on my pc.....baffed

even after resetting my cache and changing my password i'm still getting a slower pace than usual on here. maybe it's just the amount of people trying to access the site after a weekend of not being able to?
