I've just posted an interview with Professor Polosa (conducted by Paul Bergen from tobaccoharmreduction.org) on the new Italian Research into e-cigarettes. The Professor is generally positive about e-cigarettes, stating:

"The status quo in smoking cessation presents smokers with just two unpleasant alternatives: quit or die. But, there is a third choice for smokers: switching to the e-cig...In theory, at least for westernized cultures, vaping is a far better option than smoking. And it could save millions of lives."

You can read the full interview here.

Yep, interesting but I doubt if the nic level would satisfy many here: A free supply of 7.4 mg nicotine cartridges Posted Image
Be nice to your kids they'll choose your nursing home.

I buy from anyone who sells good products at the right price, even quit kit vendors.

i wonder if the participants were told to chuck their atomizers after a week like i do .. he he

and did they expect the people to get through 24 weeks on the same kit.. if they did that would account for most of the failures.. he he

the 7 mg carts would not help ether.. clueless is as clueless does professor or not..

i recon i could get 90% success rate doing it properly.. :skywalker:

HERE you can read an article about a 6-month pilot study of e-Cigarette effect on smoking reduction and cessation that Prof. Riccardo Polosa talked about in his interview.

"By replacing tobacco cigarettes, the e-cigarette can only save lives"- what a great conclusion, isn't it?

I was surprised to hear that there is a government approved e-cigarette in Italy.

Glad you like the blog, Cat :)
