It was good to put faces to names and best of all to spend the day vaping my head off in public without feeling self concious as everyone around me was vaping too.
Like most folks who were there I've not been vaping for that long and have only got an EGo (or two) and the real reason I went there apart from the social aspect was to have a look at some mods and have a go at a variable volt one or two.
Considering the number of vendors who were supporting Vapefest only a few had stalls and were showing off their wares.
So thank you to all the very kind people who had the tricky mods who allowed themselves to be ambushed and let me have a go of them.
No-one I met all day was standoffish in any way and were happy to give me a demo of their own personal mod and let me pull them apart put them back together and have a vape of them.
It's clear that there is a vaping community in the real world and not just on the internet and the people involved are very friendly.
To the UK distributors of the
Provari
Darwin
Silver Bullet
Cube
and all the others
WHERE WERE YOU?!
All you needed was a table, 5 devices for people to try and a box behind you with 100 of them in. You'd have sold every single one and had orders for another 100 by the time you got home.
You really missed a trick........
