I would've like to have seen more vendors stalls, but the ones that were there were great. Managed to score a Ming tip from Lisa's table for only a fiver which I was pleased with.
I chatted to quite a few people there including Hester, Hesters Dad, Digisatman, Itsmeitis, Rawveg, Mick (dont know his forum name) and several others I didn't catch the names of. Everyone was really friendly, letting me try their devices and juice.
The DV guys were doing awesome work mixing up the samples. There was a huge queue there everytime I looked, but they kept on mixing and were really helpful to a budding DIYer like myself.
The venue was packed out (especially during the raffles) so maybe a bigger one next year? It was a good job it was dry and we could go outside for some fresh air as it did get a little foggy upstairs!! The staff there were great too.
I managed to land a few prizes in the raffle too, including some Grizwalds juice, a couple of starter kits (which will be going to family members!), and some bud atties.
I'll definitely be back next year, and for all day too! A massive thanks to Wayne and everyone else who helped organise the event.
:-)

Precise+ 18350 & 18650, 18350 SS Cube, Orion v2, Hellfire Mega, Hellfire Mini, Cyclon v2, Genesis Mini, Throathit Twin 18650 VV Mod, Polished Alu RDA and Homemade Lion Pipe

My suggestions for an even better one next year:
Have a sign outside the venue advertising the Vapefest.
Have more space between vendors tables and in the vendors section generally - I don't understand why so much space upstairs was taken up with huge dining tables and people sitting there when it could have been used as the vendors / tryout area...there was plenty of space downstairs and outside for social gathering.
Have a programme of events...difficult to know what to hang around for or when to take a break if there is no itnerary. I left at 2.30 because no one seemed to know what the rest of the day was supposed to be about. There didn't seem to be an "official" end to the day, making it feel a bit like it was something for those "in the know" or who just wanted to party the night away with their mates.
Organise the raffle differently. If the only way of knowing the results is for people to personally be there to physically hear the result then it needs to be slicker, quicker, in a different place or done differently.
Vendors to make real cost reductions to their goods. Knocking off 50p or a couple of quid is not really good business sense. There should have been cartos, liquid and batteries flying out the door, but prices were very much the same.
I would also add that the numbers of people who attended must be a good sign that vaping is catching on!!
Well done.
Tasted and recommends Grizwald56's * Perique & Black Walnut * 666 * Koffie Kick * Choc Roast Chestnut * CinnaPear * Malibu * Rumba * Creamy Pistachio * Carapple Pie * Ferrero Rocher * Cocomel * Coconut Mint Choc Chip * Honey Rum Toffee * Whisky Cream *
Can it get any better than this?

I did have between 10-20% off everything and was generally rounding down again for multiple purchases.
I really enjoyed myself and without exception, everyone was really lovely. I'm really sad I didn't get a chance to circulate or try out the carvery.
Memorable moments for me were:
- Being located next to Paula from Vapourworld who is the nicest person ever!

- Dave Kitson winning my mod prize AGAIN!!!

- Faye (Cotty) lurking for ages, fondling the Precise 18350

- Running into Scott in the hallway and being amazed at his height (and him being amazed at my lack of it).

I want to make special mention of the organisers, most notably, Wayne, who regularly came round to ask how things were going and if there was anything I needed. Simply amazing!

the event. Lots of lovely people to meet, chat, drink and have a curry with.
Roll on next year.
Gonna need a much bigger space though if this is how it's going to keep growing!

I couldn't attend the event personally, but from all the pictures and feedback, it seems everyone had a great time, although there is always one who could have improved things, pity they didn't offer to take it on, when it was on offer....
Sorry guys, I just feel negative comments are just out of order....
After all no one was getting paid... and no one had to pay !
It's not as if there were any ticket fees or anything
WELL DONE WAYNE.. and I won't apologise for the caps.. it deserves to be shouted !

The main thing for next time is obviously a larger space. One thing i'd add to that is a small PA System for announcements (raffle) / background music (particularly after the stalls are closed).
The event went very well though, and I congratulate the organisers.

Thanks Cat. Your event last year paid for this years 100% (I have £8.67 left lol). I think Av has me mistaken for an Experienced Event Organiser. Sorry to break it to you but i am a van driver. I wasnt expecting anyone to pick aparrt my efforts and criticise the day. I totally expected 100-140 people to attend. But i am THRILLED that nearlly 300 did. Maybe next time instead of leaving at 2.30 just dont bother attending at all.
On a lighter note peoples. Dont forget Paulas fantastic GESTURE of 25% off all orders using the code Vaprfest-25 at checkout all next week!

You are not just a Van driver, you are true gentleman, you has given your time (lots off) and effort for the benefit of others, you have twisted many a vendors arm in the most polite manor (or padded baseball bat
All I can say mate is I take my hat off to you WELL DONE
